The College Board develops the SAT I, SAT II and the AP exams as well
as the PSAT/NMSQT (the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test)
all of which are administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS),
the College Board's parent company.
The ACT
produces the ACT entrance examination, accepted on equal par with
the SAT at a growing number of institutions of higher learning.

Among American colleges and universities two stand out in their
institutional integrity and valorous commitment to American values and
liberty and we hold them up as worthy of special honor and
recognition.
Hillsdale College, founded
in Hillsdale, Michigan, in 1844 is one of the first colleges, if not
the first, to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex and race as
part of the school's very charter.
Inculcating a strong love of liberty, the college sacrificed more of
her students to the cause of freedom in our civil war than any other
institution save West Point. To this day they refuse to
discriminate on the basis of sex or race and because of this
principled stand must function without the government funds that
suffuse 85% of all other institutions of higher education in America,
while providing, in our opinion, the finest classical liberal education
available.
Grove
City College shares Hillsdale's conviction in support of
independence, doing so as a conspicuously Christian institution.
We recommend her highly for educating Americans desiring to attain character
and conviction.
Pepperdine University
is a Christian College in a serenely beautiful setting with an
excellent Great Books and American Studies programs as well as
Austrian economists on the faculty facilitating exceptional education.

Find A
College That's Right For You |
There are so
many colleges out there. How do students narrow their choices? The
best place to start looking for information regarding a college is
to check out the Intercollegiate
Studies Institute (ISI). Another is to visit
Princeton Review
and let them help. Plug in the criteria that are important and get
a list of colleges that match those criteria. Embark will provide
links to the homepages of the colleges on your list. From the
college site, order an informational catalog or an application.
Some of the college sites will even give virtual tours of the
college. |

Apply
Online! |
Many colleges
have applications that can be downloaded off the internet, and
some even have applications that can completed online. Again,
Princeton Review
is our recommendation.
